Lovely place. We had a bit of a wait (apparently some problem with the tandoori oven) but the food and the attitude of the staff made up for it 110%. Our favourite was the chicken tikka masala (hot).

With this number of 5 star ratings who would not want to go here.
The food was good (real good), the service was good ( really good) However the acoustics in the restaurant are very poor. The bare concrete ceiling etc..
It was, virtually, impossible to hold a conversation amongst 6 people.

Best Indian restaurant in Brisbane. Must visit if you want to taste authentic Indian food. The owner is an amazing and friendly guy! The only problem is they don’t have a toilet inside the restaurant and you need to leave the restaurant to use the washroom.

Each dish bursts with a delightful mix of flavors. The Aloo Tikki Chat is refreshing and satisfying, while the butter chicken is incredibly tender and full of rich taste. The cottage cheese in the Palak Paneer is surprisingly light, with a great texture that keeps you coming back for more.

Wow it’s such a small restaurant but packed even on Wednesday night. The lighting was warm and welcoming. The music was a little loud and this place lacked decors (kinda plain).

We waited 40 mins for food but it was worth it (the long wait could be improved in the near future hopefully). All the food was divine-beautifully presented, well cooked and nice flavoured. We had chicken tikka masala, methi chicken, butter chicken, kadai chicken and few different naan. All our curries were requested for a medium hot, and they were amazingly medium. Our naan were chewy and fluffy-not all Indian restaurants could make good naan but Kinara did!

The prices were neither cheap nor expensive for the fact that it located in the city area. The portions were reasonable (the rice could be more generous).

Overall we did enjoy our dinner. Great work, Kinara:)

Ordered dinner to be delivered through Google. Apparently it was delivered by Food Panda which I was not aware of. The food was excellent however the restaurant didn’t send any tableware or napkins and even missed sending the coke can I had ordered. I called the restaurant and the manager was quick to call me back and apologise about the coke can but blamed the napkins and tableware on food panda. He offered to deliver but I declined because I couldn’t wait another 20 min. Excellent food however service levels need to improve.

Very good Indian modern restaurant with great food and service, but the venue is small and very compact. Last night we booked a table for 12 people for my friends birthday we had good time with amazing service. Only down part was the gravy was little diluted.

This review is based on takeaway only. I ordered online through the Google website entry which directed me to Hungry Panda. The ordering process was smooth and easy. On arrival at Kinara they couldn’t find my order and I believe they may have started preparing my order at this time. I waited around 20 minutes after the estimated ready time given by Hungry Panda. The communication provided by the service staff was average. There was no waiting area for pickup of takeaway orders so I waited outside with the food delivery staff. Food was okay, a bit too thin, runny, but otherwise reasonable flavour. I would have rated 4 stars if the order was on time and communication better.

I was blown away by the service and food! I have never been in an Indian restaurant where there was so much care for their customers. The food was absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to go again. Thank you for such a great experience.
