PIDS offers a wide array of services that align with each participant’s journey and requirements.
- Assistance with Life Stage Transition: PIDS assists individuals facing significant life changes, such as moving into an aged care facility and starting a new job, primarily focussing on building social skills and decision making abilities.
- Assistance with Daily Personal Activities: Participants’ daily personal activities, such as showering, getting dressed, meal preparation, and getting in and out of bed, are handled by PIDS’ experienced staff with ease.

- Assistance with Access and Maintain Employment: The special needs support hub helps participants in securing employment by assisting them with resume building, job applications and mock interviews.
- Assistance with Travel and Transport: The disability advocacy hub offers support with transportation needs, such as public transport, taxis, or by arranging professional drivers with valid licenses, thereby facilitating access to employment, education, and social gatherings.
- Assistance With Daily Tasks/Shared Living: Participants are constantly encouraged to be independent by providing assistance with daily activities, such as personal care, house cleaning, and medication management. Supported Independent Living (SIL), Individual Living Options (ILO), and Short-Term Accommodation (STA) are a part of this service.
- Assistance with Household Tasks: Managing daily household tasks, such as laundry and cleaning, are supported by PIDS’ experienced staff members, fostering a safe and clean environment.
- Development of Life Skills: PIDS assist participants in developing life skills, such as budgeting, cooking, using public transportation, and grocery shopping. This assistance fosters independence and helps participants manage their daily lives.
- Participation in the Community: The NDIS support centre highly prioritises social inclusion, and thereby encourages and motivates participants in engaging in activities and building community connections.
- Innovative Community Participation: Several diverse and innovative programs, such as dance and music classes and sports and fitness sessions, are conducted by PIDS to ensure social inclusion.
- Group and Centre-Based Activities: Social interaction and skill development are enhanced through several group and centre-based activities, such as arts and crafts sessions and various recreational activities.
